Castle Cary Pretty market town, mentioned in the Domesday Book, with thriving mixture of shops, museum and one of only four UK 'pepper pot' lock-ups. Home to the last horsehair weaving firm in the country, still producing textiles on the original 19th century looms - guided tours available.

Cadbury Castle The largest medieval hill fort in Somerset and reputed to be King Arthur's Camelot. Stands 500 feet above sea level and has 360 degree views over lovely countryside, including Glastonbury Tor.
